St. Gertrude School is a Catholic elementary school in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, staffed by the Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia and a dedicated team of lay educators. 7TH & 8TH GRADE LANGUAGE ARTS TEACHER (FULL TIME)

St. Gertrude School is seeking a strong Catholic teacher to join our faculty for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time position is a 7th and 8th language arts teacher and includes teaching all content areas. Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree and experience teaching children. Requirements also include the Archdiocese of Cincinnati Safe Environment process prior to starting the position. Candidate will be required to obtain a valid Ohio License. A salary scale is utilized; therefore salary is commensurate with experience. See the position description.

INTERVENTION SPECIALIST (FULL TIME)

St. Gertrude School is seeking an intervention specialist to join our faculty for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time teacher works with the student services team and faculty in advancing the mission of St. Gertrude School. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree and experience teaching and providing intervention-level support to children. Candidates must be certified as an Intervention Specialist and either have or be able to obtain a valid Ohio License. Requirements also include the Archdiocese of Cincinnati Safe Environment process prior to starting the position. A salary scale is utilized; therefore salary is commensurate with experience. TEACHER AIDE (PART TIME)
​
St. Gertrude School is looking for a part-time teacher aide for the 2026-2027 school year. This individual provides necessary assistance to the teachers in caring for the students through instructional support, clerical tasks, and supervision of students.
​
A bachelor’s degree in education or related field is preferred, along with experience working with elementary-aged children and/or classroom experience. Requirements also include a background check, fingerprinting, and Safe Environment account with the Archdiocese of Cincinnati prior to starting the position.
