St. Gertrude School is a Catholic elementary school in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, staffed by the Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia and a dedicated team of lay educators. Position Openings

SCHOOL HEALTH ASSOCIATE (PART TIME)

St. Gertrude School is looking for a part-time school health associate to join our faculty for the 2024-2025 school year. The school health associate manages daily care for students, conducts annual screenings, and completes state reports. Candidate must have a nursing license; school nurse license is not required. Other requirements include the Archdiocese of Cincinnati Safe Environment process prior to starting the position.

This is an hourly position, two to three days per week, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., alternating days with a part-time nurse. Hours and days are negotiable.

K-8 SUBSTITUTE TEACHER (PART TIME)

St. Gertrude School is looking for substitute teachers for the 2025-2026 school year. Primary job requirements include execution of teacher lesson plans and supervision of students. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree. Requirements also include a background check, fingerprinting, and Safe Environment account with the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. Additionally, a valid license issued by the Ohio Department of Education & Workforce is also required. Learn more about substitute license directions.
